Industrial Hard Chrome Plating

Working conditions and oxidizing environments wear the metals away. The surfaces of those metals are coated with a protective layer to avoid that problem.

Coating application by electrolysis (*) method is called "Galvano"; the process is called "Chrome Plating" if chrome is used for coating.

Industrial hard chrome plating differ from decorative and bright chrome plating both by the greater coating thickness and also by the coating properties. Industrial hard chrome plating is the primary necessity of the industry, as:

It is dense; durable against corrosion and chemicals,
It is hard; resistant to wearing, easy to maintain,
It has a low roughness; provides fast and high quality productions,
Does not cause any deformation like alternative hardening methods,
It is temperature resistant, does not change color, and can be weld,
Removable from surfaces with no damage, can be applied repeatedly,
 Application temperature is low.

With its technical capacity, knowledge and experience, the quality and environment management systems (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004) Tarakcioglu is the industry leader in industrial hard chrome plating in Turkey.

(*) Process of suppyling electron flow from either solution or anode to metal by using electrical energy.
